Jimmy ColemanSept 28 & 29 and Oct 2, 2005 - LA County Fair  The final stop of the 2005 GOT MILK? Gravity Tour was at the LA County Fair. This is a large fair in Pomona, just about 45 miles east of downtown Los Angeles. We had actually wrapped up the 2004 GOT MILK? Gravity Tour at this same event last year. The best thing about this fair is the night shows. I don’t know what it is, but there is a whole different vibe when the sun goes down and we fire up the light towers. Another perk of this stop of the tour was a bigger ramp. The last few fairs on the GOT MILK? tour featured a 40’ wide ramp. This weekend we had a 60’ wide monster ramp for the boys to showcase their skills on.

The athlete lineup for the final stop featured Anthony Furlong and Tas Pappas on the skateboards. Marc Englehart was scheduled to be our inline skater for the weekend but he was injured so Matt Lindenmuth got the call. The rest of the crew consisted of BMX pros Jimmy Walker, Jim Burgess, and Gabe Weed.

Since this was the last weekend of the fair, the crowds were big and were amped to see the guys ride and skate. We even had a few shows where other pros showed up and decided to sport a GOT MILK? jersey and join the party. Hawaiian inline vert pro Thumper Nagasako joined on the first two nights, and rookie pro BMX rider Zach Warden (he's only 16 and rips) joined us on Sunday.

Normally the final Sunday of the fair gets a little slow after the sun goes down. Our last show of the night was at 9 PM and was the biggest crowd we had all weekend. The 2005 Tour went out with a bang with a 35 minute killer show for the fans at Fairplex.

So the 2005 tour is in the books.  We have had a blast. Keep checking out the website and look for Tour updates for 2006!!!!!!!

Jimmy ColemanAugust 26-28, 2005 - California State Fair  The most recent stop on the GOT MILK Gravity Tour this past weekend, put us smack dab in the middle of the California State Fair at the Cal Expo. This is our third year in a row performing at this particular event and we love coming back every year. This a pretty long fair, it started on August 12th, and runs all they way until September 5th. We had an entire skatepark set up at the fair. Kids were allowed to come in and ride the street course, and ever since the fair opened, people have been asking me , “hey when are the riders getting on the halfpipe?”

The fairgoers at the Cal Expo were treated to an eyeful this past weekend. The athletes on this stop of the tour were, Fabiola Dasilva, Marc Englehart, Gabe Weed, Jim Burgess, Koji Kraft, and Tas Pappas. Each one of the athletes treated the shows like it was a contest and Marc Englehart kept firing off double flatspins all weekend long and Koji even went for a double tailwhip.

We had a special occasion on Sunday morning, the folks at UPN 13 were nice enough to come down to the fair and do a feature on us for “Good Morning Sacramento”. We also had some special guests over  the weekend, a group of young ladies who are the current reigning “dairy princess’s” came by the ramp and helped us throw out free t-shirts and hats to all the rowdy fans. Special thanks to the folks at Crystal Cream and Butter for coming out and passing out free milk all weekend long. The next stop on the tour is coming up in just a month or so, it will be at the LA County Fair.

Steven PerelmanJune 24-27, 2005 - Alameda County Fair  Hey everybody, it's Steven here with your Gravity Tour update. What an amazing weekend we had at the Alameda County Fair in Pleasanton, California! The weather was fantastic and the fans came out in droves. The Got Milk? Gravity Tour ramp was set up on the lawn in the Extreme Zone, an area especially for all the most exciting attractions at the fair. We performed four show each day Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Chris Hald, our Emcee, did a great job of calling the tricks and even threw in a few of his corny jokes to keep the audience on their toes.

We had six riders on the ramp including Tas Pappas, Danny Mayer, Marco DeSanti, Sam Fogarty, Jim Burgess and Gabe Weed, Flatland BMX extraordinaire who even did a show segment for the local morning news station. The guys were definitely out of control and the riding was some of the best I have seen. Jim Burgess was pulling tail-whips and 540's like they were going to be illegal soon. Tas not only pulled his best tricks, but did them switch as well, increasing the difficulty ten-fold. Danny, Sam and Marco were all on their game and the crowd especially loved Gabe's flatland mayhem, screaming his name every time he would enter the ramp.

We head to the California State Fair in Sacramento August 26 - 28, which should just be a blast. As we were last year, we are going to be in the Toyota Extreme Zone with the FMX guys so make sure you come and check us out....see ya there!!!

Jimmy ColemanApril 22-24, 2005 - Stockton Asparagus Festival  This is in my opinion one of the best events we do on the GOT MILK? Gravity Tour. The Stockton Asparagus Festival is a big event held every April in downtown Stockton. People come from all over to sample food, arts and crafts, see live music, and eat and drink anything you can imagine, all made from asparagus. The athletes for this year's asparagus festival were Gabe Weed, Jason Davies, Jimmy Walker, Mike Crum, Anthony Furlong, and Fabiola Dasilva.

Friday was extremely hot. We did three shows and the crowds were loud despite the heat. Saturday was bummer because it rained all morning long and for most of the afternoon. We spent the better part of the day drying the ramp and waiting for a break in the weather. That break came at around 3:30 and we were able to do a show. It was a great one and it would be the only one we were able to do because the bad weather picked up again. Gabe Weed also celebrated his 31st birthday that day. Sunday was still cloudy, but no rain. We performed all 3 shows and then had to say goodbye to the awesome crowds in Stockton and the big "G-Ramp". Special thanks to the city of Stockton for throwing the big party and thanks to all the fans who cheered us on.
